Michelle is a yoga teacher, wellness agent, interfaith minister and spiritual mentor. She is dedicated to the practice of yoga for physical strength, holistic well-being, self-expression, and empowerment.
She began teaching professionally in Westchester County, New York in 2013. She works with people from all age groups and a variety of lifestyles to build resilience, achieve a healthier relationship with the body, and cultivate inner connection. Her unique teaching style draws from traditional hatha and vinyasa sequencing techniques, along with other mindful movement and breath practices.
Both her group classes and individual sessions emphasize the inherent therapeutic benefits of a committed yoga practice. Her former professional background in corporate law adds a valuable dimension to her work as a teacher: she knows the importance of creating and maintaining balance in all dimensions of one’s life and relates well to working professionals and corporate environments.
Her training in interfaith ministry and spiritual guidance was completed through New Vision Interspiritual Seminary from 2011 to 2013. Trained to share the gift of yoga through 300 hours of Subtle Yoga Teacher Training (Kristine Kaoverii Weber), 200 hours of Living Yoga Teacher Training (Liz Schulman/Richard Villella), multiple retreats and workshops with Judith Lasater, anatomy studies with Jason Ray Brown and her own holistic healing journey, Michelle looks forward to encouraging the strength, vitality and joy in your mind, body and spirit.
She currently teaches weekly classes at Dragonfly Wellness and Yoga Studio in Ossining, NY and Premier Athletic Club in Montrose, NY, and has taught in her local school district in Croton-on-Hudson. She has offered workshops on restorative yoga, meditation and guided relaxation. In addition to her work with private clients, Michelle currently offers workshops tailored to the needs and interests of groups and organizations.
